Contact card and logging a call
What the contact card shows during a call, how to log the outcome, book a meeting and mark a number as not working.
What it is for
The top of the contact card shows what you need during the call: the name and salutation, the phone number, the last call and the call notes. Below them you log the outcome and move to the next contact with one button.
How to
- Click Next call. The card of the next contact opens.
- On a phone, tap the number to dial it. On a computer, copy the number with the button next to it.
- Before the call, read Last call: who called, with what outcome and what they noted. The ⓘ icon next to the name shows the campaign intent and goals.
- During the call you have the Call script at hand. If the campaign has more of them, switch them above the text.
- In Log a call, choose the State after the call. If the state needs the time of the next call or a meeting date, the field appears below the states.
- Click Log and next call in the bar at the bottom. The call is logged and the next contact opens. Log only only logs the call and keeps the card open.
Good to know
- The bar at the bottom stays visible while you scroll the card.
- If something is missing, the app shows it right at the field after you click to log the call.
- To mark a number as not working, open the ⋯ menu next to it, choose Number not working and confirm. The number is crossed out and can no longer be dialled from the card.
- For a booked meeting, the top shows who the meeting is for and a link to their calendar. The date and the call summary are required, the note is optional.
- If an action cannot be saved, the app says why right at the button or field: for example no connection, another caller has the contact open, or the lead has removed it from you.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I see the button to log the call?
The contact is done, the campaign has ended, or another caller has the contact open right now. The card is then read-only.
I marked a number as not working by mistake. What now?
Write to the call team lead or to support. In the meantime you can add the number again under Calling details.
