Plan, beta and trial
Where to see your space plan, when the trial ends, what happens after it ends and how to request an extension.
What it is for
The plan shows how your space runs: in the closed beta, in a trial, or with a paid subscription. An admin sees how long the space is covered and can pay or request a trial extension.
How to
A space admin opens Space admin, tab Plan. Other members see the plan in My settings, tab Profile, in the Space plan block.
Request a trial extension
- On the Plan tab, click Request an extension.
- Optionally add why you need more time.
- Click Send request.
The request goes to Opener support. Once we extend the trial, you get an email with the new date and the app shows it on its own, without reloading the page.
Good to know
- Beta: a space in the closed beta is free for now. It has all features, AI up to 20 questions a day for the whole space, and up to three invited colleagues.
- Trial: it lasts 14 days, runs until the end of the stated day and includes 100 AI credits. The Opener team starts it.
- After the trial ends, the space is read-only with export available. Your data stays stored for 90 days. Once you pay, everything is back.
- Notices: an admin sees a bar in the app 7, 3 and 1 day before the trial ends and gets an email 7 days and 1 day before. Other members see the bar only one day before. You can dismiss the bar; it comes back at the next step.
- An extension can be requested once for each trial end. After sending, the tab shows when you asked.
- Prices, credits and payments are visible to admins only. Stripe handles payments, invoices and VAT.
- After a failed payment, an admin sees a bar in the app. Stripe sends the email about the failed payment.
Frequently asked questions
Why don't I see the Plan tab?
The tab is for space admins only. As a member, you find the plan in My settings, tab Profile.
What happens to the data after the trial ends?
Nothing is deleted. For 90 days the space is read-only with export available; after you pay, you can continue right away.
I requested an extension. How do I learn the result?
Once the trial is extended, you get an email with the new date and see it on the Plan tab.
