What it is for

Help explains how Opener works. It comes in two forms: the Help section for reading and browsing at your own pace, and a panel next to the section you are working in, so you can check what you read right away.

How to

  1. In the left bar at the bottom, click Help and support. The start page of the Help section opens: at the top the question How can we help? with the search field and common questions, below it Start here (first steps and recommended guides), Topics and What's new.
  2. Type what you are looking for into the field. Articles appear as you type. You can also jump to the field with the / key (outside a field you are typing in).
  3. Click a topic or an article. On the left there is the overview of all topics with the open article, above the article you see where you are in help, for example Help › My work › Follow-ups. On the right there is In this article with the headings of the article; related articles are at its end.
  4. When you need advice right where you work, press the ? key (outside a field you are typing in). Help opens in a panel next to the section and offers the articles On this page.
  5. In the panel you see the path above the article just like in the section. Open the overview of all topics with the All topics icon on the right above the article.
  6. In the section, the Try it in the app button opens the feature the article describes and moves the article into the panel next to it, at the heading where you were reading. From the panel, Open as page takes you back to the section at the same place. In the panel, Open in the app opens the described section next to the panel.

Good to know

  • Every article has an address. In the section the article is in the page address (for example /napoveda/moje-prace/follow-upy), in the panel the article is in the address of the section you have open. After you reload the page, the article opens at the same place, and the Back button of the browser returns the previous article.
  • Link to an article: copy the page address. A colleague who opens the link sees the same article. A link to an article that support sends you in the chat opens the article in the Help section next to the chat. A link to a heading is created when you click the heading in In this article.
  • The panel stays open when you switch to another section; close it with the cross. Only one other panel is expanded next to it: when you open a contact detail, help collapses into a narrow strip; click it to expand help again.
  • Language: articles are in Czech and English. In German and Polish you see the English articles with the Article in English label.
  • Contextual links: the More in help link at a section description or in an empty section opens the article that belongs to it in the panel.
  • Printing: in the section, the Print article icon is to the right of the article title. Only the article is printed.
  • Chat with support is always in the panel, so you can write next to your work. In the section it opens with the Chat with support button in the footer of the start page and at the end of every article.
  • Panel width: the Widen panel icon in the panel header widens it, Narrow panel returns the normal width. The choice applies to all side panels and the app remembers it.
  • Narrow screen: at a topic or an article, open the topic overview with the All topics button to the right of the path above the content.
