What it is for

The personal challenge is an optional game with a daily goal and a collection of moments from real work with people. You switch it on yourself and nobody else sees its results.

How to

  1. Click your avatar on the right of the top bar and choose Personal challenge.
  2. Click Start and go through three short steps: what you enjoy (Rhythm, Moments collection), how much per day (a daily goal in points) and the look of your world.
  3. Work as usual. The ring around your avatar shows how much of today's goal you have. When you meet it, a short sentence with a tick appears.

You can change everything in Settings on the Personal challenge page: styles, pace, daily goal, look of your world, Show points and holidays.

Good to know

  • Privacy. Only you see your goals, streak, points and collection. Your admin, colleagues, support, the export, team overviews and connected AI do not. What stays private are the game's goals and results, not the work itself: steps with contacts remain visible in Team activity as before.
  • Points are counted by the app from the value of each step: an invitation a little, a connection more, a conversation (Messaging) and a call more still, a meeting the most, and a follow-up done on time adds a bonus. Looked up gives no points. Each contact gives points once per day for each kind of step, and invitations have a daily cap.
  • Only steps logged the same day or the next day count. Older history added later and imports give no points.
  • Streak counts working days in a row with your goal met. Weekends and holidays do not break it. When a streak ends, a new one starts, with no penalty.
  • Moments in the collection come from real events, such as a first meeting from LinkedIn or a relationship revived after six months of silence. Some are hidden and come on their own.
  • Switching off (Switch off personal challenge) deletes your settings, streak, collection and game history.
  • The space offers the personal challenge unless an admin switches it off in Space admin. The admin does not see who plays.

Frequently asked questions

Will my manager see whether I meet my daily goal?

No. Only you see the game. Your manager still sees your steps with contacts in Team activity, just as without the game.

Why did a profile visit not give me points?

Visiting a profile gives no points on purpose. The game rewards steps that move a relationship forward.

I am on holiday. Will I lose my streak?

No, if you enter the holiday in the personal challenge settings. Holiday days count as weekend days.
