What it is for

A call team phones the contacts and companies your space sends it and books meetings with them. A booked meeting comes back to Opener as a follow-up. You find Calling in the left sidebar in the Outreach group.

How to

A member of the space sees in Calling the campaigns they can contribute to. Each campaign shows:

  • its name, the call team that calls and since when the campaign has been running,
  • What the call team is looking for: the campaign intent as the admin wrote it,
  • Meetings booked, Contacts sent and Companies sent: totals for the whole space, without names.

A campaign that is still being prepared has the In preparation badge. A member cannot see the queue, the goals or other people's contacts.

How to contribute:

  • Contact: in the contact detail, open the menu next to the name, or in the side panel on LinkedIn below the lists click Add to calling campaign. Pick a campaign and confirm.
  • Company: in the company detail, open the menu next to the name and choose Add to calling campaign.

When picking a campaign you see what the call team is looking for. In the app you can also set a date. When a meeting is booked from a contact or company you sent, you get a notification in the bell (unless the meeting goes to you directly as a follow-up).

A space admin has four tabs in Calling:

  • Campaigns: creating campaigns, the queue of contacts and companies, starting and ending.
  • Call teams: partnerships with call teams and your own call team.
  • Library: states, scripts and fields that campaigns are built from.
  • Work record: the callers' work record to download.

Until the space has a call team, a library with a script, a campaign and the first contacts in it, the Campaigns tab shows the Get started with calling introduction at the top: two ways to a call team (your own call team, or a call team via Callers) and four steps that tick themselves off.

Good to know

  • Members with edit rights can send to campaigns. A read-only member sees the campaigns but cannot send anything.
  • Private contacts cannot go to campaigns.
  • Only an admin adds in bulk (several contacts or companies at once, a whole list).
  • In the action plan, Send to campaign appears for a contact in the Connected phase that has been quiet for a long time. You set the period in My settings, tab Reminders.
  • The Team section has the Contribution to calling campaigns block: how much the team sent this month and how many meetings came of it.
  • If the space does not have a call team yet, Calling shows only a short explanation. Calling is set up by a space admin.
  • Old Calling addresses in Space settings lead here.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see any campaign in Calling?

The space does not have a call team yet, or no campaign is running or being prepared. Ask a space admin.

Will I see what happened to a company I sent?

Calling shows only totals for the whole space. A booked meeting appears in Opener as a follow-up for the person it belongs to.
